About the conference
The 5th International Conference on Mathematics, AI, Information & Communication Technology, hosted by Gulf College in Muscat.
The International Conference on Mathematics, AI, Information and Communication Technology (ICMAICT) is an international academic forum dedicated to advancing research across mathematics, artificial intelligence, information systems and communication technologies. Now in its fifth edition, the conference is organised by Gulf College, Muscat, in cooperation with academic and publishing partners in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
ICMAICT brings together researchers, academics and industry professionals to present original work in machine learning and deep learning, data science and big data analytics, cyber security and digital transformation, and the mathematical and statistical sciences that underpin them. The conference gives particular attention to emerging areas including generative artificial intelligence, quantum computing, blockchain and financial technologies, and the ethics and governance of intelligent systems.
Papers are invited under four research tracks. All submissions are screened for similarity and then evaluated through double-blind peer review by three to five members of the international scientific committee, with acceptance requiring a score of at least seventy per cent from a minimum of three reviewers. Accepted papers are presented at the conference in Muscat and published in the conference proceedings.
Through keynote addresses, technical paper sessions and workshops, ICMAICT aims to foster interdisciplinary collaboration, support the exchange of knowledge between academia and industry, and address real-world challenges in scalability, security and real-time data processing across domains including education, healthcare, finance and bioinformatics.
ICMAICT 2026 is organised and hosted by Gulf College, Muscat.
A higher education institution in Muscat offering programmes across business and management studies, computing sciences, foundation studies and postgraduate research, together with the International Institute for Training and Institutional Development. Gulf College hosts the conference and chairs its organising and technical committees.

Important dates
Every stage of the submission process, from the opening of the portal to the conference itself. Missing the camera-ready or payment date removes a paper from the proceedings, however well it reviewed.
The CMT submission portal accepts manuscripts from this date.
Final date to upload your manuscript. No extensions are granted after this point.
Editorial decisions are sent to the submitting author through CMT.
Final formatted manuscript and signed copyright form are due.
At least one author must have completed registration for the paper to enter the proceedings.

Policies
Every rule below has caused a withdrawal at a previous edition. None of them is a formality.
Manuscripts are submitted as Word files through Microsoft CMT. Submissions sent by email are declined.
Four stages, roughly four weeks end to end. ICMAICT follows a double-blind process for every submitted paper.
Every manuscript is checked in Turnitin through Crossref Similarity Check before a reviewer sees it. Papers that fail go no further.
The Scientific Committee assigns each paper to three to five independent reviewers, who evaluate it against a structured reporting form. Neither side sees the other's identity.
Acceptance requires a score of at least 70% from a minimum of three reviewers.
Accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject. Review normally takes up to two weeks; revisions are due within two weeks of notification.
The peer review committee is open to active researchers with a publication record in one of the four tracks. Reviewing is unpaid and takes roughly three papers per edition.
Check your manuscript with licensed software before submitting and keep the report with your files.
Language services are optional and charged separately from registration. Only papers the editors recommend are referred.
Grammar, punctuation, spelling and typography corrected throughout.
Clarity, sentence structure, flow and academic tone improved.
Written comments on ambiguous passages and suggestions for strengthening the argument.
Fonts, spacing, margins, tables and pagination set to the template; references adjusted to the chosen style.
Editing is provided by PaperTrue, the conference's language partner. Fees are calculated on total word count and paid directly, separate from your registration fee.
Registration fees are non-refundable once a paper has been submitted and accepted. Please check your registration category carefully before paying.
All accepted and registered papers must be presented at the conference to enter the proceedings. Full details of the publication routes for this edition are set out in the About Publication section.
Accepted and presented papers will be considered for publication in a dedicated volume of the ICAIIT Proceedings (ISSN 2199-8876, Scopus indexed). Other selected papers may be published by Taru Publication journals or in a Springer series, according to the author's choice at submission.

Publication
Accepted and presented papers reach publication through one of three routes. You select your preferred outlet inside the CMT submission system when you upload your manuscript.
Accepted and presented papers at the conference will be considered for publication in a dedicated volume of the ICAIIT Proceedings. Papers are published as conference papers following successful peer review, registration and presentation during the conference.
Selected papers may be published in the journals of Taru Publications, a conference partner. Authors choose this route at submission, subject to the journal's own scope and review requirements.
Selected papers may be published in a Springer series volume. As with the journal route, this is chosen by the author during submission and remains subject to the series editors' acceptance.
All available journals and series are listed inside the CMT submission system. Select your preferred outlet when uploading your manuscript — the choice is made at submission, not after acceptance. Publication in every route depends on successful peer review, completed registration and presentation at the conference.

Account numbers, PayPal addresses, Western Union receiver data and gateway links are never posted publicly and never sent through social media. International participants who need a visa to enter the Sultanate of Oman should apply online well ahead of December.
Oman's eVisa system lets most foreign nationals apply electronically without visiting an embassy. Requirements vary by nationality — some passports are exempt, others need supporting documents — so check your own category before booking flights. Processing times increase towards the end of the year, so apply as soon as your paper is accepted rather than waiting for the final payment deadline.
If you need a formal invitation letter for your application, email the secretariat with your paper ID and your passport details exactly as they appear on your travel document.
The Royal Oman Police portal is the government system. Third-party sites charge fees on top of the visa cost and are not affiliated with the conference. Participants are responsible for meeting all entry requirements before travelling.
